The New Jersey Interdistrict Public School Choice Program provides non-resident students the opportunity to attend Pompton Lakes High School at no cost to their parents/guardians. This program also includes transportation options for School Choice students.

Pompton Lakes High School is proud to offer choice students scheduling options that will ultimately place them in at least one of three distinct programs through which they can earn college credits at affordable rates prior to graduation from high school. PLHS will work collaboratively with choice students and parents/guardians to develop course schedules that prepare the students for participation in one or more of the following specialized programs: Advanced Placement (AP); Project Acceleration, which is affiliated with Seton Hall University; and the Challenger Program, a joint venture with Passaic County Community College.
